Year: 2022

TimeLine: 3 Months

Role: UX/UI designer

Background

The project aimed to improve the efficiency and usability of TJX’s store allocation management applications by redesigning the user interface to better support internal teams in making informed merchandising decisions. As part of this initiative, the design process focused on creating intuitive workflows and interfaces that streamlined complex allocation tasks, ultimately enhancing productivity and accuracy for end users.

Problems to solve
  • Inefficient Workflows: Existing store allocation tools involved complex, manual processes that slowed down decision-making and increased the risk of human error.

  • Poor User Experience: The outdated interface lacked intuitive navigation and visual clarity, making it difficult for users to perform tasks efficiently.

  • Inconsistent Design: Variations in design patterns across the application led to confusion and reduced overall usability, impacting user confidence and productivity.

Goal

To design a user-centric interface for TJX's store allocation management applications that streamlines complex workflows and enhances operational efficiency, while ensuring the solution is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with brand consistency to support informed decision-making by internal teams.
